La señora Sonia Teran, comenzó a trabajar con Emprender, en un grupo solidario, el año 2005, empezó con un drédito de 150 dólares hasta la fecha en que llegó a la décima secuencia haciendosé acreedora de 1.200 dólares, y por su responsabilidad a lo largo del tiempo es favorecida por el financiamiento con Kiva. La señora Sonia quedó viuda hace dos años, y desde entonces es ella quien se responsabiliza de la mantención y estudio de sus dos pequeños hijos, felizmente segun refiere, cuenta con el apoyo de su familia. Tiene una tienda de barrio que representa su modo de vida, atiende a sus clientes con mucho respeto y cariño, por lo que es reconocida en su zona. Hasta la fecha ella a demostrado puntualidad y responsabilidad en sus pagos.
