Paulimus is the coordinator of the Fideles de Dilaire group. He is not married and has three children. Paulimus lives in the north of Haiti, where electricity is rare and drinking water is very limited.

Paulimus has been running a business selling cosmetics for the past eight years. With this loan, he will invest in buying cosmetics. He hopes that this loan will help him expand his business.

The other group members need a loan for their businesses which sell cosmetics, charcoal, shoes, etc.

Paulimus says his main challenge is becoming a great merchant. His main goal is to have a large business which will facilitate him building a larger house, with the help of Esperanza International.

Paulimus est le coordinateur de son groupe Fideles de Dilaire. Il n'est pas marie. Il a 3 enfants. Paulimus habite dans la région nord`est Haïti ou l’électricité est rare et de l’eau portable est très limite. Il dirige son commerce de vente de produit cosmetiques pendants les 8 derniers années. Avec ce prêt, Paulimus va investir dans l'achat de cosmétiques. Il espère que ce emprunt l’aidera a grandir son commerce.

Des autres membres de Fideles de Dilaire ont besoin d’un emprunt pour les commerces ventes produits cosmétiques, charbon, chaussures, etc. Il dit que son défi principal est de devenir un plus grand commerçant Son but principal c’est d’avoir un plus grand commerce qui lui facilitera à construire une plus grande maison avec prêt de Esperanza Int.

This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services. 

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
