The “8 DE DICIEMBRE” community association will begin its sixteenth cycle in Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal de German Busch centre. It is made up of eight members and is governed by a board chaired by Señora Marcela. The members of the community association have a variety of businesses, selling blankets, tights and sweatshirts, fish, hats, insoles, potatoes and food.

The loan they receive will benefit small microentrepreneurs, including Señora Margarita. She says that she has been a member of Pro Mujer for sixteen years, and was invited to join by a friend who is a member of the organisation. Today, she has a business selling blankets, which she established a number of years ago, after learning how to weave from her sisters.

She will use the loan she receives to increase capital (buying wholesale thread) which she will get from wholesale sellers. After making her products, she will sell them in her sales outlet. This way of working allows her to make money to support her family, as she is married and has four children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the healthcare and training offered by the organisation.

La A.C. “8 DE DICIEMBRE” iniciará el décimo sexto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de German Busch, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Marcela es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de mantas, venta de medias y poleras, venta de pescado, venta de sombreros, venta de plantillas, venta de papas, venta de comida.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora Margarita es integrante, ella indica que hace diez y seis años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por la invitación de una amiga que es socia en la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de mantas; da a conocer que este negocio lo implemento hace varios años, ya que la técnica de tejido lo aprendió anteriormente de sus hermanas.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de hilos por mayor) que adquirirá de las vendedoras mayoristas y posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar a su familia, ya que ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el área de salud y capacitación que ofrece la institución.
