Lamula is married with three children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of additional family members. She has a business of selling charcoal and has been in this business for two years. She has applied for a loan of 500,000 Uganda Shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of charcoal. She works at the market six days out of every week and sells on a retail basis. She generates additional income from selling green finger bananas. Her major business challenges include thieves and transportation. She aspires to own a delivery van for ease of transportation. She decided to join MCDT-SACCO because of the low interest charged. She resides in a rented house and her monthly expenses include school and rent.
