Varditer is young farmer from Khot village. She lives there with her parents and 15-year-old sister. Her father used to be an army officer, but currently is retired.

Varditer, together with her mother and sister, runs a farm. They keep six cows and seven calves and get dairy products, which they sell in the local market.

Varditer applied for this loan of USD 1,200 to be able to purchase four more cows and enlarge their agribusiness.

As this is Varditer's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past because they have no credit history.
