Floredelyn earns a living from selling goods in her retail store while working in a private company. Her parents help her in watching her store. She earns a good income from this business. To add inventory capital, she borrowed a loan from GDMPC micro credit to buy more grocery items to sell. She hopes to have more returns in order to generate additional income for the purpose of providing better living and to improve the general situation of the entire family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
