Lissette owned and operated a successful optical storefront in Ecuador but chose to come to the United States eight years ago in pursuit of opportunities for her two sons. She was able to sell her business and now operates a similar enterprise here in the US.
She loves the freedom that comes with running one’s own business but acknowledges the risks as well. She struggled during the recession and often runs deficits during the slow seasons; however, thanks to proven tactics and great service, she has secured financial freedom for herself and two children.
