José tiene 41 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa e hijos en su casa propia de material rustico, en el Caserío Mangaypa, una zona rural del distrito de Pomahuaca, una comunidad de clima cálido, su población se dedica a la agricultura, comercio y ganadería, ubicada en la Provincia de Jaén que pertenece a la Región Cajamarca, sierra norte del Perú.


El se dedica a la agricultura, específicamente al cultivo de café, cuanta con clientela en su comunidad, ha solicitado un préstamo de 1 000 nuevos soles para la compra de abonos para darle mantenimiento a su cultivo de café y de esta manera tener una producción oportuna para ofrecer a sus clientes y generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
