Faustino

Faustino tiene 56 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa e hijos en el distrito de San Felipe, una comunidad de clima cálido, su población se dedica a la agricultura, especialmente al cultivo de frutales y arroz, comercio y ganadería, ubicada en la Provincia de Jaén que pertenece a la Región Cajamarca, sierra norte del Perú.


El se dedica al cultivo y venta de lima, cuenta con fincas de lima un aproximado de 02 ha de finca frutera, lo cosecha de manera mensual el cual lo vende en su caserío a los comerciantes de frutas quienes la llevan a comercializar a otras ciudades, ha solicitado un préstamo de 3 000 nuevos soles para el pago de mano de obra por mantenimiento y compra de abonos para el cultivo de lima y de esta manera generar mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
