A loan of $850 helped to buy sheep.

Nurbubu's story

Nurbubu is 50 years old, married, and has four children. She has a high school education and has had her own farm for 14 years, which she started with 4,000 som (KGS). Thanks to her dedication, hard work, and sense of responsibility, Nurbubu was able to increase her herds to include three dairy cows, one horse and 20 sheep. Her family earns around 10,000 som (KGS) per month. Her grown children live on their own and her husband and her youngest son help her around the farm. In order to continue expanding her business, Nurbubu requested a loan with the bank Bai-Tushum to purchase sheep. She plans to use the profits to invest in additional livestock and make repairs to her house.
