Charles's story

Charles is 50 years old and comes from Nyahururu. He is married to Tabitha and they are blessed with five children aged 17, 16, 14, 10 and four years old.

He is a farmer, a business he has been running for the last fifteen years, and to enable him buy maize seeds to plant, fertilizer and a heifer, he has applied for his second loan of KES. 71,000 from VisionFund Kenya.

His monthly income right now is KES. 40,000 and he plans to use the anticipated profits from his expanded business to educate his children, buy some more dairy cows, and pay his loan back to VisionFund Kenya. In the future, Charles hopes to be an established farmer.
