Mukadam M. is 48 years old. She and her husband have raised four children. For 10 years already Mukadam has been working in the largest local market of the city. She sells green gram and peas. This legume is very popular in Tajikistan. They can be cooked in soups more made into cereal, both of which are very nourishing, healthy and tasty. So Mukadam's business is very stable and generates the main income for the family as her husband is retired on a pension. Mukadam has been working with IMON for a year, and has proved herself as an accurate client. Today she requests 4000 Somoni ($1200 US Dollars) for the term of 12 months. The loan shall be spent purchasing green gram and peas to sell. Mukadam thanks all for support and promises to pay the loan in time.
