Mary is 51 years old and from Nakuru. She is married to Joseph and they are blessed with five children, ages 25, 23, 20, 18 and 16.
She is a tailor and has been running the business for the last 15 years. To enable her to buy more clothing material, sewing thread and some fasteners, she has applied for her fourth loan of KES 54,000 from VisionFund Kenya.
Right now her monthly income is KES 15,000. She intends to use profits realized from her expanded business to educate her children and to repay her loan to VisionFund Kenya.
