Svetlana
Svetlana is a mother of four children (two girls and two sons).
Together with her husband, she has been involved in cattle breeding for over 10 years. They own a big farm which includes a livestock (cows, calves, sheep and chickens). They also cultivate vegetables (wheat, potato) and grow different types of fruit trees (cherry, nut, apple and pear).
Their farm is successful enough and provides this family with stable monthly income.
Now, by applying for this loan of USD 2000, Svetlana would like to enlarge her livestock by three more cows and calves. This loan will help them to enlarge their agribusiness and Svetlana will be very thankful for the help.
As this is her first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past because they have no credit history.
