Letecia has been running a business, retail store for many years. Aside from this, she also had a farm as their main source of income. With her farm, Letecia earns is a sustainable manner. She always find ways to improve it in order to gain more farm produce. Recently, she took a new loan to buy fertilizer. She hoped to have a greener farm and to ensure to have a better income for the family in the near future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
