Chhon S., 26, is married and lives with her husband and three children in the Siem Reap province. Since 2004, she has been selling many kinds of vegetables to earn a living and is able to make about $3 USD each day. Her husband, Lon Chan, 26, typically makes about $5 USD from a motor-taxi business. Chhon S. would like to take out a loan of $1000 USD to purchase a motorbike for her husband to run his business. In the future, if she has enough money, she will purchase a store in the market where she will be able to attract more customers.
