Irina
Irina lives with her family in Zorak village of Ararat region. Together with her husband and two sons Irina runs a farm. They keep a livestock (cows, chickens and turkeys) as well as cultivate potato. The family also owns an greenhouse where they cultivate greens and sell it in the market.
The barn that they own is old and needs to be renovated. So Irina needs some financial means to organize her farming process. She wants to renovate the barn, purchase an ox and tomato seeds for the farm. Implementation of these goals is important for Irina to have sufficient income from the sales of the harvest to sustain her family during the year.
As this is Irina's first loan, it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn’t have access to credit products in the past because they have no credit history.
