The Credit Group La Dolorosa del Pueblito meets every 15 days in the Canton Montecristi, known for its rich pre-colonial culture and its handicrafts which are recognized nationally and internationally. It is the place of the famous straw hats.
This group is composed of 11 women and 2 men who decided to get together and form a Communal Bank which has helped them a lot because through the loans obtained they have improved their small businesses and quality of life. They carry out various activities including commerce, services, and food sales, among other activities.
One of the partners in the group is Sonia who is 26 years of age, single, lives with her parents, and is studying for a degree in Education Sciences. Sonia is a hard working young woman whom due to her efforts has been able to advance in her studies to have a better future and be able to form a family. She has a shop with foodstuffs and a bazaar in her house. She started the business 8 years ago, first with the store and then the bazaar as time went by. This is how she finances her studies and helps her parents who have limited resources. Her mother helps her at the store when she needs to leave for the university where she studies.
This loan will help her buy foodstuffs to stock her store and also bazaar articles. She's been with the Credit Group from the start and she likes it because thanks to the loans she improves her business and her life. Her dream is to finish her studies and be a great professional.

EL Grupo De Credito La Dolorosa del Pueblito se reúne cada quince días en el Cantón Montecristi, conocido por su rica cultura pre colonial y por su artesanía que es reconocida a nivel nacional e internacional. Lugar de los famosos sombreros de paja toquilla.
Este es un grupo de 11 mujeres y 2 hombres que decidieron unirse tiempo atrás y formar este Banco Comunal que les ayudado de mucho ya que con los créditos ellos han podido mejorar sus pequeños negocios y su calidad de vida. Se dedican a diversas actividades tales como comercio, servicios, venta de comidas entre otras actividades.
Una de las socias de este grupo es la señorita Sonia, tiene 26 años de edad, está soltera y vive en casa de los padres, ella estudia licenciatura en Ciencias De La Educación.
Doña Sonia es una joven muy trabajadora que a base de esfuerzo ha logrado sacar adelante sus estudios `para tener un mejor porvenir y así poder formar una familia, ella tiene una tienda de víveres y bazar en su casa, este negocio lo empezó hace 8 años, primero fue la tienda y con el paso de los años surtió su pequeño bazar, así ella se financia sus estudios y también ayuda a sus padres que son de escasos recursos, su mamá le ayuda en su negocio cuando ella tiene que salir a la universidad en la cual estudia.
Este crédito lo va emplear en comprar víveres para surtir la tienda y artículos de bazar. Esta desde el inicio en el Grupo De Crédito y le gusta porque gracias a los créditos ella mejora siempre su negocio y su vida. Sus sueños es terminar sus estudios y ser una gran profesional.
