Raúl has worked in agriculture since the time he was ten years old. He learned this type of work with his father, and it has served him well to get by. He sows corn and sorghum. Additionally, he was in the army; he works as a security guard with a company. His daily routine is a little tiring. In order to get to where he works, he has to take a pick-up to get to the highway, then he takes a bus to get to the city, and then a minibus to get to where he works. At times, in order to save, he gets up earlier to go by bicycle.
He will use the requested loan to buy manure, seed, and poison, and to buy a heifer.
His dreams are: to buy a plot of land and build his own house, and that his children would study and prepare themselves academically, and to be able to buy ten milk cows.
Raúl se dedica a la agricultura desde que tenía 10 años, fue con su padre que aprendió el trabajo y le ha servido de mucho para salir adelante, él siembra maíz y maicillo, además estuvo en el cuartel, trabaja como vigilante de una compañía, su rutina de trabajo es un poco cansada, para llegar donde trabaja tiene que tomar un pick-up para salir a la carretera, luego toma un autobus para llegar a la ciudad, y después un microbús para llegar donde trabaja, en ocasiones para ahorrar se levanta mas temprano para irse en bicicleta.
El préstamo solicitado será invertido para comprar abono, semilla, veneno, y para comprar una novilla.

These loans are smaller than the typical loans offered by this field partner, and guarantee requirements are also reduced. Individuals who receive this type of loan also get access to technical assistance, information on good environmental practices and increased access to farm inputs like fertilizer. This is considered a high risk loan due to the population and loan purpose, and CrediCampo is one of the very few institutions in El Salvador willing to working with these farmers.
