Specioza is married with six children and all her children go to school. She also takes care of additional family members (her mother). She has a poultry farming business which she has been in for over 10 years. She has applied for a loan of 300,0000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of poultry feed, vaccines and chicks. She generates additional income from rental houses. She works seven days out of the week and sells on both a retail and wholesale basis. Her major business challenges include transportation and seasonality. She is aspiring to own a big poultry farm and also to educate her children up to a university-level. She decided to join MCDT-SACCO because of the timely loans. She resides in the family house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and feeding the family.
