Uthuman is a 28-year-old married man living in Fort Portal, Uganda. His business is running a retail shop. He gets additional income from phone charging, motorcycle transportation and teaching. He is facing challenges of high costs of products and the general price fluctuations.
However, he has a vision of having a steady business fully stocked to capacity so as to attract more customers and increase his profits plus lighting his house with solar power since they don't have hydro electricity in his village. Uthuman has asked for a loan to buy solar panels for his house.
