George, aged 37, is a responsible father of five children living in Fort Portal, Uganda. He practices tea farming, a business he has been running since 2003, having started it to increase his income. He is also a mechanic and sells spare parts to add onto his earnings; he concentrates on this during the dry season when the tea business does poorly.
He is requesting a loan to rent another tea plantation so as to increase his output. George hopes to see his children attain education to higher levels.
