Jesca lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is single with four children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of any additional family members. She sells second hand clothes on a retail and wholesale basis at the market. She works seven days a week. She has been in business for the last 18 years. She has requested a loan of Ugandan shillings 2,000,000 from MCDT – SACC0 to buy more bales of second hand clothes. Her major challenges include transportation and seasonality. Her goal and aspiration is to educate her children to the university level, to become a wholesaler and to build a residential house. She lives in a rented house and the family has access to electricity but does not have access to piped water. Her major expenses include food, rent and school fees.
