Le groupement ICHELEGBE 1 est composé de dix personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante du groupement, nommée Tchossè Joséphine (celle qui a la main levée sur la photo) âgée de 59 ans a très peu fréquenté l'école. Tchossè Joséphine est une veuve Tchossè Joséphine vit seule. Les diverses charges de la famille sont assumées par Tchossè Joséphine. C’est pour cette raison Tchossè Joséphine vend divers articles et du pétrole dans sa région depuis une trentaine d’années pour pouvoir subvenir à ces besoins. Tchossè Joséphine s’approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le but de diversifier son activité et mieux faire face à la demande de sa clientèle, Tchossè Joséphine ensemble avec les membres du groupement ICHELEGBE 1 sollicitent pour la troisième fois un crédit auprès de ALIDé. Les prêts antérieurs ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.
