“San Miguel” is a group that is in its second loan cycle as part of the Women’s Committee Program. All of them work and help one another get ahead. They have been able to improve their poverty situation because of their efforts, their continuous work, and their application of vital behaviors that are associated with successful women.

Liz is the group president. She is a very devoted person who helps her group, provides them the encouragement to move forward, and gives them incentives. Liz is a beautician and says that she has built up a very good clientele. She always provides good service to her clients, which explains why she is doing very well.

Liz is requesting a loan so that she can invest in the purchase of dyes, scissors, combs, and other supplies that are used in her salon. She is grateful for the opportunity she has received since it will help her continue providing good service to her clients.
