Caundesia, a 51-year-old married mother of six from Thika, has a mixed crop farm business. She has been in the farming business for the past 10 years. She earns a monthly income of KES 15,000, which she uses to support her family. This marks her first loan term with VISIONFUND KENYA after she was introduced by an existing client.
With the loan she has applied for from VISIONFUND KENYA, she will purchase farm inputs. Additional income created will allow her to improve the standard of living for her family and use the remaining amount for the education for her children.
In the future Caundesia would like to expand her farm land. She hopes to become a prominent farmer in Embu.
