Luvuno is a married woman with one very young child. She lives in her own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Luvuno's greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
Luvuno has operated a maize sales business for the last year, selling to her neighbors and passersby. Seasonality is her major business challenge. Luvuno is requesting a loan to purchase sacks of maize for her business. Her hope is that her business does well so that she can venture into a large-scale cereals sales business.
