Arevik lives in Ijevan City in the Tavush region. Arevik is 46 years old and since a very young age, she has been engaged in farming; first with her parents and now with her husband and two sons. Her husband is a very skilled farmer, but from time to time, he goes to the Russian Federation in order to earn more money and stays there for five or six months. During this period, Arevik’s sons greatly helps her in farming and agricultural activities. In her farm, Arevik is mainly involved in swine breeding and poultry (5 piglets and 30 chickens). They also cultivate a plot of land, the harvest of which is mainly used for their family. They only sell milk and eggs from their farm.
