Salim is a married man who is very hardworking and enterprising. He lives in the coastal region of Kenya.
For the past 14 years, he has been selling cows and goats at the market to the general public. The main challenge for his business has been unstable market prices.
He joined Yehu in order to gain access to funds. He is requesting a loan of 80,000 KES to purchase more cows and goats for his business.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
