Abed Almajeed
Abed Almajeed is 42 years old; he lives with his wife and his three children in Gaza.

He has a shop selling chickens, and he earns a monthly income of US$ 900. He started his business in 2012. He brings the chickens from a poultry farm near his shop, but his business still needs a lot of improvement, so he plans to hire one employee to help him. He needs to make changes in his business before that, so he applied for this loan to buy an incubator for chicks. This will increase the number of his chickens and improve financial conditions and will support the needs of his family and allow him to reinvest in his business.

Abed Almajeed's dream is to educate his children and give them the best in their life. He is very grateful to everyone who helps him to achieve success in his business with this loan.

This loan is part of Ryada’s efforts to reach areas of the West Bank which are underserved due to the political situation. Funds will be used to finance housing improvements in refugee camps and Areas B and C of the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority currently has limited to no authority in these areas, making it very difficult for individuals to acquire official construction and building permits. Without the necessary documentation, banks are unlikely to lend to these individuals.
