Heriberto

Heriberto es un hombre casado y padre de dos hijos por quienes ha luchado durante arduas jornadas para sacarlos adelante.
A sus 57 años de edad, se desempeña como técnico y comerciante independiente de electrodomésticos, oficio que aprendió desde hace 30 años de forma empírica y poco a poco fue ampliando sus conocimientos, el taller se encuentra ubicado en un espacio de su casa, además de prestar el servicio de reparación también compra electrodomésticos que estén en mal estado, los repara y luego los revende a un mejor precio, generando utilidades para así solventar los gastos de su familia.
Es por esta razón que solicita el crédito, el dinero será utilizado en la compra de electrodomésticos de segunda mano (televisores, radios, planchas), esto le permitirá repararlos y luego venderlos para obtener ganancias, con las que podrá seguir reinvirtiendo en su negocio y además brindar un mejor bienestar a sus hijos y esposa.
Heriberto manifiesta que su edad no le impide seguir soñando y por ello lucha con empeño y constancia para lograr ampliar su negocio, pues es su mayor anhelo, así podrá dejar un buen legado a sus hijos y disfrutar una vejez más tranquila en compañía de su amada esposa.

This loan is structured on Kiva as a bullet loan, which means a single payment is required at the end of the loan term. By Colombian law, Kiva's partner Interactuar is required to offer borrowers loans with a variable interest rate that fluctuates with the market rate. Because fixed monthly payments are applied first to interest and then to principal, Interactuar is unable to predict upfront what portion of each repayment would go towards the loan principal. This creates a challenge with Kiva's system, which doesn't allow for unpredictable principal payments, and can result in some Interactuar clients appearing falsely delinquent. To remedy this, the loan has an end-of-term repayment plan on Kiva, but the borrower will continue scheduled monthly repayments to Interactuar, who will then pass along the principal amount to Kiva lenders. This means that you may see repayments made on this loan throughout the repayment term, as opposed to receiving repayment in full at the end of the loan term.
