Erika is 20 years old. She is a very enterprising and tenacious woman. Since she was very young, she has had a common-law-partner. Together with her partner, she strives each day for a better life. They have a little son who is only 1 year old. Erika’s partner works in farming and she works selling clothes. Both work very hard. Erika goes every morning to work in the outskirts of the community. Her experience has helped her to find a good number of customers. Each day she tries to help her partner to provide for the basic food for themselves and their baby. She wants to use the credit to buy a granary to keep the basic grains (corn and beans) which they grow.

In the future, they hope to improve all areas of their work: Erika Maritza’s clothing sales as well as her partner Osmar’s cops. This will enable them to get ahead, to have their daily food and to improve their lives. Both dream of having their own home which will help them to have the safety and comfort they need. They also dream of having a larger clothing business and a better quality of life for their baby.
