Victoria's story

Victoria lives in the area of Kakata Town, the capital city of Margibi County, which is the highest producing rubber plantation in Liberia; she is 24 years old and has five children between the ages of 4 and 10. They all live at home and are in school. For the past 5 years, she has been running a local restaurant. She started this business with help from her mother and learned this way of selling from her friends. She is requesting a loan to purchase more oil, salt, vita, rice, pepper and other items for her business. Her plans is to buy a piece of land and build a house for her children.
