Jeanette sells “lait caillé", a thin yoghurt produced using milk. She sells her products from her home in a busy neighbourhood. She received her first capital to start her business from her husband, who is a lorry-driver, and later on she took out a loan with IMF Hekima.
Jeanette has been running her business for twelve years now. This new loan will help her buy 600kg of milk. In this way, she would like to increase her capital and become a wholesaler, so she can clothe and feed her children and send them to school.
Finally, Jeanette would like to thank Hekima for promoting the independence of women entrepreneurs who cannot access the banking system, especially at this critical moment when war has broken out in the east of the country.
