Balata Camp is a Palestinian refugee camp established in the northern West Bank in 1950, adjacent to the city of Nablus. It is the largest refugee camp in the West Bank.

This loan is part of Ryada’s efforts to reach areas of the West Bank which are underserved due to the political situation. Funds will be used to finance housing improvements in refugee camps and Areas B and C of the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority currently has limited to no authority in these areas, making it very difficult for individuals to acquire official construction and building permits. Without the necessary documentation, banks are unlikely to lend to these individuals. By supporting this loan, you are helping individuals overcome this challenge so that they can improve their living conditions.
