Julio
Julio is 65 years old. He studied until the sixth grade. He has had a partner for seven years and his life companion is a domestic worker and has an occasional job washing clothes in her neighborhood. He has two children who are students. The oldest is not his biological son however Julio has raised him as if he were.

Julio works in a city center where he has had a job for 12 years as a street sweeper. His sense of discipline and responsibility have enabled him to work for many years. His job is about three blocks from his house and he walks there and works 8 hours a day. Before getting this job, Julio was a farmer.

He needs the loan he is requesting in order to purchase materials to improve his home since the place he currently lives in is mixed, half is adobe and the other half is metal sheets and he wants to convert it completely into adobe. Consequently he will buy adobe soil, wood and pay for the work force needed to improve his house.

Julio wants to continue working until one day he will have a house made of better material so that his family will have a decent life. He also wants to provide his sons with an education so they will succeed in life.
