José Atilio
José, 51, is married with a beautiful family, who he works hard every day to support. His wife helps him by carrying out the household chores and taking the children to school, as they know that if they have an education they will have a better future.

José works as a bricklayer and a farmer, thanks to which he has been able to build a decent home and keep his children in school. During the rainy season (May to November) he grows beans and corn and for the rest of the year he works in construction. Jobs come up in other locations so sometimes he has to travel large distances to earn money. His oldest son helps him with his work.

José needs a loan to begin preparing his land for cultivation, paying workers to put up a fence and removing weeds. At the moment he doesn't have the money to carry out these tasks as he has not had many bricklaying jobs, so he decided to get a loan which he will pay back little by little with his construction work.

His dream is that his children will be able to finish their studies and become respectable people with good jobs - that they are able to feel proud of themselves. He knows that for this to happen he needs to work hard so that they want for nothing.
