Minh is 44 years old and she is married with two children. She lives and works in Thanh Hoa city, an urban area in Thanh Hoa province, with no dependents; her children are grown up. With her business profit, Minh hopes for her family to be healthy and happy, for her business to do well, and for her children to find good jobs.
In 2011, Minh joined Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women to improve her business. Minh has successfully repaid four loans from Thanh Hoa Fund for Poor Women. She is the group leader of the 08-01-07-Phú Sơn2 solidarity group, which consists of four members.

The institution's target clients are poor and low-income women who have the ability to work but lack the capital. Accordingly, FPW prioritizes single mothers, low-income women with children who have dropped out of primary school, and Viet Nam’s poorest women who cannot access any formal financial services.
