Susanna lives in Spandaryan village with her husband. Her two sons are migrant workers in a neighboring country. Susanna and her husband have been farmers for 20 years. The farm has both livestock (cows, chickens, sheep and turkeys) and also arable land where barley, potatoes and grass are cultivated.
Susanna’s husband is a fisherman. The income that they get from agriculture is hardly enough to cover basic costs. So Susanna also works at a local village school as a cleaning woman. She is a hard working woman who does her best to sustain her family's standard of living.
Susanna asks support to be able to purchase 3 oxen and feed for the livestock. The loan will be a great improvement for her family as they will have a chance to earn additional income from agriculture.
Susanna dreams of earning a stable income and having a profitable farm so her sons will be able to come back and live in their country.
