A loan of $725 helped to buy threads in a variety of colours.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza is 37 years old. She lives with her children in the district of Zaña, a community located near the Jequetepeque river, which has enabled it to develop through agriculture, trade, and ranching. The community is located in the province of Chiclayo, which belongs to the Lambayeque region, on the north coast of Peru.

She has a craft workshop, where she makes tablecloths, serviettes, and other embroidered products. She has a considerable clientele. Esperanza is a mother who strives to get ahead. She has requested a loan of 2,000 PEN in order to purchase threads in a variety of colours so she can continue with her work and offer more to her clients.
