Joel is 33 years old and lives in the town of Lukaya in the Masaka region of Uganda. He is married and has two children with none of them currently in school.
For the past five years, Joel has been working hard to manage his retail shop which sells Lucozade drinks, bread, glasses, snacks, umbrellas, and water.
To help expand his business, Joel has requested a loan of 2,000,000 UGX from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more Lucozade drinks, bread, glasses, snacks, umbrellas, and water. This loan and will help Joel to generate greater profits and increase his stock.
Joel hopes that in the future he will be able to own a wholesale gift center.
