Samvel
Samvel lives in Katnajur village with his wife and two children (27 years-old son and 22-years-old daughter).
Samvel is a migrant seasonal worker and also is a farmer. During months when he is here, he is involved in agriculture. Particularly Samvel keeps cows, pigs, piglets, chickens and turkeys, as well he cultivates wheat and potatoes. He works day and night and feels very responsible to give his family appropriate living conditions. Now, he has applied for this loan to purchase potato seed and forage for feeding the livestock. This will help him to increase his agricultural turnover.
As this is Samvel's first loan it has been approved within the framework of the new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF. The first-chance loan program provides loans to people who didn't have access to credit products in the past because they had no credit history.
