Andranik
Andranik is from Lernantsq village. He lives together with his parents (who are in the photo), grandfather, sister, brother and sister-in-law. The whole family have been involved in agriculture for 20 years. They run a big farm which includes cows, sheep, calves, oxen, and chickens, as well as an arable land where potato and wheat are cultivated.
The whole family runs the farm with great love and care and for many years the farming business has been the only source of their income.
So, by applying for this loan, Andranik would like to ask Kiva lenders for support. He needs the loan to be able to purchase potato seeds and forage for the livestock.
He has already taken out a loan from a local financial institution, but unfortunately wasn't able to repay it. However, thanks to his hard work during recent years, Andranik and his family were able to run their agribusiness in a sustainable way, ensuring that they will be able to cover monthly payments. So, he has now been approved for a loan within the framework of a new joint initiative between Kiva and SEF International which provides a second-chance loan to people who have a bad credit history and no access to credit.
The whole family waits for your support.
