Lusine is from Gogaran village of the Lori region. She lives with her mother-in-law and brother-in-law and five school-aged children (four sons and a daughter).
Lusine's husband is a migrant worker and continually supports his family financially. Lusine herself has been involved in agriculture, running a farm for fifteen years. Her mother-in-law helps her with farming activities and they both work hard to sustain an appropriate life for the children.
Lusine applied for this loan to be able to purchase fertilizer for cultivation of the land and also pay for the harvest gathering process. It is very important for Lusine to gather harvest and sell it, so the loan will be a huge support for her family. She dreams of expanding her farm and running it in a sustainable way, so her husband will be able to come back to his family.
