Razia's story

Razia Baji is the wife of M. H. and lives in Lahore, Pakistan. Lahore is famous for its historical places and for its Punjabi food. She owes a two-room brick house and has been living in it for the last 3 years. She is the mother of six children: two daughters and four sons. All of her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood.

Razia Baji's husband is a tailor by profession. He stitches babies' dresses (pants, shirts) particularly. He has been in this profession for the last 9 years. Razia Baji is a housewife and prefers to do household work and take care of her family. She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy a sewing machine for her husband.
