M. Ali
M. Ali is a 42-year-old married man. He lives in the rural area of Lahore, Pakistan, with his spouse and three children.

He has been in the business of selling milk since childhood. He learned all the techniques regarding milk production from his father. This is the only source of income for the family; he has to devote his full time and energy to his dairy farm alone. He delivers milk in the market and door-to-door as well. For delivery purposes, he uses his bicycle. He loads milk cans on his bicycle and delivers it early in the morning. His customers like the fresh and delicious milk he delivers.

His monthly savings has become too low due to a rapid increase in household expenses; the excess utility bills, school fees, uniforms and expensive books has greatly affected his savings. He wants to buy an additional buffalo so that he can cope with the household expenses. However, he finds it difficult due to financial constraints.

Therefore, M. Ali planned to purchase one more buffalo to increase his sales, so that he can generate more income and savings as well. M. Ali has requested a loan from Kiva's partner, BRAC Pakistan. He hopes to provide a quality education for his children and to buy a motorbike to deliver the milk. He is very thankful to Kiva and BRAC Pakistan.
