Anh is a 52-year-old married woman who lives with her two children and husband in Ho Chi Minh City. Her husband earns money as a community security guard. For the past four years, Anh has run a general store where she sells many products to the people in her community.
Anh is requesting a loan to purchase foods and beverages of better quality and quantity to stock her store. She hopes her loan will enable her to better meet the needs of her current customers as well as attract additional customers. Anh also hopes that she will be able to increase her income and save money for any future difficulties that may face her family.

Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) is a non-profit Vietnamese microfinance institution that operates in the provinces of southeastern Vietnam and the Mekong Delta. CEP's head office is located in Ho Chi Minh City. This institution’s mission is to work with, and for, the poor and poorest to realize sustained improvements in well-being through the provision of financial and complementary non-financial services in an honest, efficient, and sustainable manner.
