Eli tiene 36 años de edad, vive junto a su esposa e hijos en el Caserío de San Luis una zona rural del Distrito de Santo Tomás que cuenta con servicio de luz y agua, la comunidad se caracteriza por tener un relieve accidentado, su población se dedica a la agricultura, comercio, ganadería, ubicado en la Provincia de Cutervo que pertenece a la Región Cajamarca, sierra norte del Perú.


El tiene un pequeño taller donde se dedica a la carpintería, confeccionando mesas, sillas, reposteros entre otros que lo comercializa en su caserío y zonas aledañas, Eli ha solicitado un préstamo a Edpyme Alternativa de 1 500 nuevos soles para la compra de madera y herramientas que permitirá implementar su carpintería y de esta manera seguir vendiendo sus trabajos, generándole mayores ingresos para su familia.

This product was created to assist Edpyme Alternativa to expand their reach into rural areas of Northern Peru in order to attend more underserved populations. Kiva funding allows the institution to access the Northern areas of the Piura, Lambayeque, and Cajamarca regions, which are generally too costly to serve and therefore less attended by financial institutions.
