Tiburcio
Tiburcio is a dairy farmer, and he sells the milk to the company Delicia. He also works as a master brick layer in the town of Achacachi. Tiburcio currently is separated from his wife and lives in his own home with his two children in his care. His children are school aged. He lives in the community of Chijipina chico, in the city of Achacachi, around two hours travel from the city of La Paz. He only has a few head of cattle that provide milk.

The credit is needed in order to buy a milking cow, and thus increase production and his income.
Tiburcio's dream is to increase his head of cattle, increasing the milk production of his community.
This is the first loan that he has requested via Kiva partner IMPRO, and the first loan with Kiva.

Tiburcio es productor de leche, el cual vende a la empresa delicia, ademas trabaja como como maestro albañil en la población de Achacachi. Tiburcio actualmente esta separado de su pareja vive en casa propia tiene dos hijos en su cargo el cual se encuentran en etapa escolar en la comunidad chijipina chico del municipio de Achacachi, a dos horas de viaje de la ciudad de La Paz, cuenta con pocas cabezas de ganado las cuales le proporcionan leche.

El credito requiere para compra de una vaca lechera y asi, incrementara su produccion, y sus ingresos.

El sueño de Tiburcio es incrementar sus cabezas de ganado, aumentando la producción de leche en su comunidad.

Es la primera vez que solicita crédito junto a IMPRO y la primera vez con KIVA.

About IMPRO

IMPRO is a small non-profit organization that has been offering micro credit to the working poor in the Bolivian cities of La Paz and El Alto since 1995. IMPRO’s goal is to fight poverty by offering loans to small business owners who cannot access credit through the regular banking system due to a lack of guarantees or collateral.

To ensure that everyone has access to credit, IMPRO maintains a low interest rate by minimizing operational costs. IMPRO’s partnership with Kiva, which began in 2007, has allowed IMPRO to expand its services while maintaining these low interest rates.
