Roldan, a young entrepreneur of Zamboanga del Norte operates a general store to make a living. He has been doing this for two years and he earns well enough to improve it.
He joined GDMPC in 2013 and it helped his ability to engage in business. Roldan borrowed a loan from GDMPC micro credit to buy more grocery goods to sell.
His dream is to improve the business in order to ensure a better income for his future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
